Too good to wait—enjoy a tasty treat on the spot

Run by the Akkeshi Fisheries Cooperative, A-Uroko has a reputation of offering reasonably priced, fresh seafood—including oysters and seasonal delicacies like chum salmon, Pacific saury, Shishamo smelt, and horsehair crab—caught in Akkeshi. It also has an eat-in area with five microwaves, which you can use to steam fresh oysters selected from the fish tanks. They supply chopsticks, so there is no need to bring anything. Being able to try a variety of oysters, such as Maruemon and Kakiemon, right on the spot is a special kind of luxury. The staff can also prepare the seafood of your choice as sashimi to take home. Regular customers say that the freshness keeps them returning.
