Enjoy a luxurious culinary experience with stunning Kushiro River views in a refined setting

At the café and restaurant Kushiro Club, located on the second floor of a historic building along the Kushiro River, one dish not to be missed is the Oyster Bourguignon. Plump oysters raised in the rich waters of Akkeshi are grilled to perfection with the restaurants house-made bourguignon butter. Infused with garlic and aromatic herbs, such as parsley, basil, and thyme, the butter enhances the umami of the oysters while adding depth and fragrance. As you bite into the freshly grilled oyster, your mouth fills with juicy ocean brine and the rich aroma of butter. Perfect as an appetizer or a companion to a drink, this popular dish keeps guests coming back for more. Lunch and dinner also feature a wide selection of dishes that make generous use of ingredients from the Kushiro and Nemuro regions. Take in the views from the large windows as you enjoy your meal. With the Kushiro River flowing below, the superb location offers a sense of the citys history and its enduring connection to the sea—truly something to be appreciated in person.

釧路倶楽部
A popular dish featuring umami-rich Ezo venison loin from eastern Hokkaido, gently cooked at a low temperature to retain its moist tenderness, then seared to an aromatic, savory finish. Mild in flavor, it offers a tender lean texture and the deep, complex taste characteristic of game. A must-try for Ezo venison lovers, and an excellent pairing with wine.
釧路倶楽部
Vongole Bianco made with Akkeshi clams. This oil-based pasta is tossed in fragrant garlic oil and infused with the rich umami of broth released from large clams. Generously topped with clams, it is a dish that delights the eyes and the palate.
釧路倶楽部
Housed in a 40-year-old building that was formerly the Eastern Hokkaido Japan-Soviet Friendship Center, the interior still reveals traces of the building’s past. Wood slab tables, solid wood floors, and carpeted window-side seating all contribute to a special sense of atmosphere. Guests remove their shoes before entering, creating a relaxed and comfortable experience.

From dusk onward, the space takes on a completely different mood. Gazing out at the Kushiro River glowing gold in the magic hour makes the setting all the more romantic.
